This is a new L-3 Pulse Science 40564 Triggered Spark Gap that was damaged in handling. One of the exterior trigger electrode contacts has broken off, so the customer will need to solder a new contact to the trigger pin. UV illumination in the trigger electrode provides particularly reliable triggering.
