This is an EG&G model H-PS-13 Flashlamp High-Voltage Power Supply, which could readily be put to many other uses than driving a flashlamp. The basic circuit consists of a Bertan 15kV charging power supply, a 0.1 MFD capacitor, a 0.5 MFD capacitor, a mechanical switch for controlling how the capacitors are discharged, and an EG&G model GP-46B triggered spark gap with associated driver.
